''I'm Glad There Is You'' Inception

"I'm Glad There is You", that is the name of our album.

We have been working on our duo - Inception - for 4 years now, constantly building up new repertoire and playing various concerts and festivals. Our first album will be the results of our work together, we want to record it professionally in a recording studio and release it once it is finished.

It will be a very intimate and personal album. Just the pure voice and the piano - no band, no frills. We have selected and arranged 12 beautiful jazz standards. Each and every piece has a deeply personal meaning to us. They are all a reflection of our past and our present. A confession of our love for each other and of love itself.

With this crowdfunding project we want our work and our music to finally be available in a format that can be taken home and listened to. In particular for those people in our audience that have been waiting for such a long time. The goal is to create an album in physical form. After we have recorded the music in the studio, the tracks will be mixed, mastered, the booklets designed, the GEMA applications made and then the CD is ready to be pressed.

In order to be able to complete the entire project including everything that goes with it, we need far more than €5,000. However, if we reach the funding goal with you and your support, this will significantly reduce the costs for us and our dream of producing our first album will come true.

The world is full of incredibly talented musicians, with wonderful music that cannot be heard because they lack the needed financial support. Not many are lucky enough to have a manager, investor or the right record company. We feel the same way, but we do not want to wait for the right person to come along or for us to win the lottery. We want our music to be heard NOW.

Together and with your help we can make our dream come true. We will put our heart and all our efforts into this album. And we are sure that it will not only be fun for us to produce it, but that you will also enjoy listening to the final result. :)

100% of the money will be put into the production of our album,
