Die Schwarmfinanzierung unseres nichtkommerziellen, ehrenamtlich organisierten Festivals macht uns zum ersten Mal weitgehend unabhängig von staatlichen Förderprogrammen. Das Mecklenburgische Dorf Jamel ist von Neonazis gezielt als „nationalsozialistisches Musterdorf“ besiedelt worden. Das Festival bedeutet seit sieben Jahren Gegenwehr gegen diese Vereinnahmung und soll den Nazis demonstrieren, dass ihnen „demokratischer Gegenwind“ entgegenbläst.
