I am Jana, a singer-songwriter from Berlin. My songs have a soft touch that drag you in and invite you to dream. I like dreaming myself and believe that dreams can come true. That is why I decided to make music the most important factor of my life. Finally, I want to record a studio album. Let us make this dream a reality together.

What is this project all about?
A studio album with band will be a new experience for you and your ears.
For 3 years now I have been playing the small stages in and around Berlin – my guitar always at hand and my stories on the tip of my tongue. So far, I produced a live CD and a home recording EP. Finally, it’s about time to take the next step: recording a studio album.
For the album I want to work together with my new musical companion Dirk Wilhelm. There might also be guest musicians.
This promises to give my songs a new vibe – refined, layered - however still true to myself “less is more!”
Become part of this dream and you can look forward to music that makes you feel at ease with yourself and invites you to another world.
What is the project goal and who is the project for?
The goal is to produce my album with 10 songs in a professional manner.

How will we use the money if the project is successfully funded?
The funding covers the costs for recording and production (musicians’s fee, studio rent, production, mixing and mastering) as well as the costs for designing and pressing the CD.
When overfunding:
I would be more than happy if the funding goal will be achieved. That is why I would like to give a share of the additional amount to the social cause of “Kinder- und Jugendtelefon Berlin“ (http://www.diakonie-portal.de/kinder-und-jugendtelefon-berlin) where volunteers and skilled advisors have an ear for the sorrows of kids and teenagers.
This is a good cause and a memory of a former life when I was working in the social sector. This time has had a huge impact on my life and strengthened me for the pass that I’m taking now.
