In times of Corona, streaming is too onesided. We want to go the next step towards a social experience.
KeepInTouch is an interactive platform, which brings streaming to the next level. Instead of following an event alone, you can experience it with strangers or your friends. In times of the Corona-Virus, everything we've been doing has to be rethought: Concert halls, yoga studios, classrooms, or clubs. They are all empty right now. We want to bring them back to life and help them create an alternative source of income.

What is this project all about?
With this platform you can "KeepInTouch" with your friends and avoid physical contact at the same time. Each time you visit "KeepInTouch" you will experience something new. Diverse events, and the possibility to be with hundreds of people in one "room" allows new situations to arise.
While your favourite band broadcasts a stream from their living room, your favourite club is open all weekend long. With three dance floors, a sitting area, a bar, and maybe even bouncers who make sure that the rules of the club are respected.
An event can have 5 or 5000 visitors. As in real life, you can move around alone or in groups. You can explore the virtual space, or have a relaxed get-together with friends - You decide.
Stream hosts can decide whether their virtual rooms are freely accessible, or an entrance fee is charged. Uncomplicated payment options, and the possibility to have subscriptions, will simplify this process.
What is the project goal and who is the project for?
On the one hand we want to offer an alternative income to everyone affected by the crisis. And on the other hand we want to help people to stay in touch and continue to share experiences.
Why would you support this project?
We have a motivated team ready to go. Together we want to make our contribution to overcome the crisis as smooth as possible. To achieve this, we are counting on your support.
How will we use the money if the project is successfully funded?
100% of your contribution will be used for the development and infrastructure of the platform.
To be specific:
The first funding goal secures:
- UI Design and layout of the platform
- Server costs for the first two months
- Development of the client-server architecture (the technical fundament for streaming, as well as the functionality of the software/app) by our partner WRD-Labs. Their development team counts 22 members and has many years of experience in the streaming sector and counts Deutsche Telekom and Vodafone among its customers.
The second funding goal will bring it to the next level:
- Even larger groups can meet in one place
- The virtual experience will become more immersive by added functionality
- The virtual rooms can now be modified by the hosts (design of the virtual rooms, additional interactive features, extended moderation functionality)
- More payment options for donations or entrance fees
- The coverage of server costs for half a year
- The coverage of maintenance costs for half a year
Who are the people behind the project?
Besides Felix and Daniel our team consists of Slawik - our business development expert - two designers and the IT development company "WRD Labs".
