The idea for the concert series "Culture at the Pavilion" was born during the lockdown in spring 2020. Corona-compliant, strollers can experience live music. And that directly at the Dresden Elbe meadows. Short afternoon concerts at the pavilion below the Albert Bridge are gratefully received. Over the summer months, the concert series has established itself. The pavilion has grown into a notable cultural venue. For the continuation in spring 2021 we need your support.

What is this project all about?
We organize live concerts under corona conditions.
There is a small pavilion on the Elbe River below the Albert Bridge in Dresden. With your support, artists perform here every Sunday afternoon.
Visitors can sit down on the Elbe meadows and listen to the music, dance or dream.
What is the project goal and who is the project for?
People need culture. Especially in times of crisis, art and culture, music and entertainment are important for mental health.
At "Culture at the Pavilion", walkers, residents, visitors, tourists and fans of the respective artists can experience precisely this healthy effect of live music at a safe distance.
For the performing musicians, this means finally being able to do again what they do best:
Moving other people.

How will we use the money if the project is successfully funded?
Your money goes to independent artists in Dresden.
With the base amount of 4.500,- € we finance four concerts in spring 2021. We pay fair fees to musicians, technicians, organizers, graphic designers, film producers.
The more money we have available, the more artists we can engage and the more concerts can take place.
In the best case, for an entire summer.
