1. Securing the upkeep expenses of the sanctuary:
2. Reopening and expansion of the pedagogical programs:
Part of our income used to come from events and educational programs which we were and are still unable to offer due to Covid. After many months in lockdown our savings are almost used up. That’s why we need your help now!
At our sanctuary, we provide a forever home for (farm) animals.
Goats, sheep, chickens, pigs, ponies, dogs, cats and cows came to us from different backgrounds. Some were for example saved from slaughter, others came from people who could no longer care for them. We want to make sure that all of them can live here peacefully, free from fear and exploitation.
In addition to that, we want to give people the opportunity to come in contact with the animals. This way, they can learn about the different needs of different animals and experience a deep and meaningful connection.
It is essential for children and teenagers to have a safe space where they can spend time in nature, with animals and with each other. Many families do not have animals at home and animals are also disappearing more and more from our environment.
Our goal is to establish low-threshold open afternoons for all children and teens in our area.
We also want to reopen and expand the educational programs which we used to offer before the lockdown.
By creating a funding pool, we can make sure that all children can participate in our programs, regardless of the financial situation of their parents.
We also give adults the opportunity to help at our sanctuary. They come to reorientate themselves, to take a break from their everyday life, to (re)connect with nature and to actively support us. Even for people who have had traumatizing experiences in their past, the work with animals and being close to nature can be very beneficial.
We raise awareness for a mindful way of life and want to inspire people for a plant based lifestyle by preparing delicious food.
With your donation, you help preserve and improve this little paradise.
To help preserve the Tierlieben sanctuary and secure the upkeep of the animals.
To help expand and improve this little paradise so that many more people can experience the connection to animals and nature in the future.
Because such places are important for the non-human animals, humans and nature alike.
For the children and future generations, for a more peaceful world!
First we will use the money directly for the animals (food, veterinary bills etc.) and the basic infrastructure of the sanctuary. To ensure this, we should reach Level 10 (8900€).
Once these basic costs are covered, the money will go into a funding pool to enable all children and teens to participate in our programs, regardless of the financial situation of their parents. The money will also be used to pay the salary of the educational professionals who will organise the open afternoons. Level 12 (23.300€) would be awesome for this!

Since taking over the property some years ago, we have already accomplished a lot by investing our time and money. Family, friends and many other people helped us clean up the site, renovate existing structures and create cozy homes for the animals as well as lovely spots for visitors. We also planted a vegetable garden, started pedagogical programs and took in many people.
