LILA LIED

LILA LIED is a multimedia cabaret evening that transforms SchwuZ in Neukölln into a circus ring. Inspired by Mischa Spoliansky's chanson of the same name, which became the world's anthem for the first homosexual movement, the performance will tell the stories of forgotten queer-feminist performing artists from Weimar-era Germany and connect them to today's continued struggle for emancipation and equality.
