Happarel Bicycles blurs these lines. Frame and spokes can be easily transformed into reflective surfaces. The whole silhouette of your bike is highly distinguishable in the cars headlights. Subtle during the day, intense at night. Same principle applies for other non-motorised things on wheels, being dependent on increased visibility.

ADDING REFLECTIVE SURFACES

Of course, these reflective stickers do not replace your lights, that should be clarified. The stickers are supposed to be an addition to what you are obliged to have, and the practical advantages are obvious: No more "I forgot!" or "It just looks stupid!". Disadvantage: The german traffic regulations don't consider additional illuminants on your actual bicycle legal, but we know out of longterm practical experience that the law enforcement welcomes everything that increases cyclists' visibility. In France reflective vests are compulsory for cyclists riding in the dark. If there is a decent and neat alternative to increase one's visibility, why not use it as well?!

PRODUCING LOCALLY, REALISING YOUR IDEAS

Your well spent money not only goes into the production of your rewards, but will help us investing in a Print & Cut Machine which allows us to develop and produce our Reflective Stickers, from the idea up to the finished product.
So far we depend on outsourcing parts of our production process, coming along with long waiting periods and relatively high costs in the production process especially when it comes to one of a kind projects.
The plotter we are aiming for, costs about 7.000 Euro. On top of that, we need material to work with. And time to develop new applications and designs. The further we exceed our funding goal the better the device will be, the more professional we can work and the more options we will have to fulfil your fancy reflective design requests.

Besides off-the-shelf products, we will keep on developing unique designs hand in hand with our customers, since this is how we started. Our portfolio contains complete bicycle designs, special edition wheelchairs and fully reflective helmets. The complete production process needs be under one roof in order to achieve competitive prices and reasonable production times.
