We composed hundreds of new sheets of music - and it would be really great to make it possible you can listen to them! Therefore we want to record the new songs in studio. Our classic-metal-mixture developed: We added an additional violin line to almost all the songs and some orchestral parts. Unfortunately, it's pretty expensive to record such a huge arrangement. Therefore we need your support. The deal: We take care of our studio days, the mixing/mastering and the artwork, you pay the studio time of our guest musicians and the pressing.
Our music is dedicated to all people who are open minded concerning new music at the edge of metal and classic. We would like to unite the worlds of classical und popular music and overcome prejudices. And, as a side effect, building up our molllust-empire. Be part of it!
- ... because you like our music, of course!
Or, to make a more global statement (it shall sound important):
- to support music far from mainstream
- to cross musical borders with us
- to prove that culture is more than classical pieces from past centuries or today's top 10 charts
A wonderful new molllust album will exist!
We have to pay for:
- CD-Design
- studio production
- guest musicians
- mastering
- CD-pressing/Digipack-print
We take over:
- CD-Design
- studio production for the molllust-band members
- mixing
- mastering
You take over:
- salary of our guest musicians and studio rent for their recording days
- CD-pressing/Digipack-print
The mainpart ist still up to us. This means we'll radically kill our bank accounts. If we get more money than our funding goal, we'll take it to make a music video. (We really hope to raise enough money to realize it, too!) And in case we get even more money, we can take it to pay for our new merch (t-shirts, jewelery). In addition, it would be great to have sth. left for promotion issues - and to safe us from our private financial ruin. Furthermore, we dream of a huge stage drop for festival stages. You see, there are a lot of bills to pay for us. Therefore we could even spend four times the amount of our funding goal into our music!
It's me, Janika, the composer, singer and pianist of molllust, who officially launches this project. But I do it in the name of the whole band, of course:
Sandrine, our 1. violinist
Luisa, our 2. violinist
Lisa, our cellist
Frank, our singer and e-guitarist
Johannes, our e-bassist
and Tommaso, our drummer.
In addition, these guys are also looking forwards to our new album:
Andy Schmidt, our producer
Ivo Zibulla, our digipack and booklet designer
Frank Helbig, our photographer
and our guest musicians, our supporters behind the scenes and hopefully all our fans!
