Why a mobile MultiFunctionalKitchen?
That is very simple: so that we can finally cook in the café. Currently, there is no kitchen. And if we want to prepare our vegetables in the garden, we just bring the kitchen there. Or to a neighbourhood party. Or to a park. Wherever it is needed.

We need a long-term solution for cooking in the café and in the community garden. We need a flexible solution, which allows us to make use of the kitchen, wherever it is needed. Not only do the chefs of the café benefit, but also the volunteers at the community garden. But first of all everyone who wants to travel with us through all the flavours of the world.

Your support is essential so that people can cook under ideal conditions. But much more than that, you support a community of people, who believe that friendship and solidarity should not depend on origin, sex, religion or disability, but root in an open society. You give people the opportunity to become part of this growing community. Thanks to your support, we can build a circular system: vegetables from the garden can be used in the café, where it is transformed into delicious dishes by international chefs. That makes the food regional, organic, seasonal and fair. People without any formal education get a job. The city widens its culinary horizons and spaces of encounter and community building.

zusammen leben puts all the money into the building of the kitchen. The planning and building will be executed by the Stadtpiraten ("city pirates") and their apprentice programme for refugees. Thus, synergies are created: we get a great kitchen according to our needs, the apprentice programme is being co-financed and its participants improve their skills and learn how to construct a mobile multifunctional kitchen.
