Crowdfunding since 2010
mydearlove designs clothes for grown girls with a young heart who want to bring a cheerful, relaxed attitude to their everyday lives. However, we don't only focus on unique design, but also care deeply about using and reviving regional ressources. To help our label grow further, support Saxony as a textile region and - by the means of an extensive retailer collection - make our clothes accessible to even more people, we need your support.

What is this project all about?

With your help, we want to take the next step after seven successful years as a seller on Dawanda (like Etsy in Germany). For spring/summer 2016, we're planning the release of our first extensive retailer collection.

We want to give all mydearlovers the opportunity to find their favourites in cute, little shops nationwide. Moreover, a retailer collection makes it possible for us to detect new target groups and reach people who might never have found us online.

For the buying of high-quality materials and the fair production of our collection here in Germany, we need your help.

We are looking forward to our way together and want to thank each and every one of you supporting us,
Anke & Moni & the whole mydearlove-Team

What is the project goal and who is the project for?

It is our goal to revive the German region around the Ore Mountains as a textile region and create long-lasting wardrobe favourites. The regional aspect is not only important for the production of our clothes, but also influences our design choices. We are creating modern street folklore for grown girls with a young heart.

With a retailer collection sold nationwide, we want to give even more women the chance to feel and look special every single day.

Why would you support this project?

Because we...

are producing our clothes locally in Germany and giving people from our region the chance to create something beautiful while being paid fairely for their work.

... bring a good mood and colour into German wardrobes with our lovingly designed womens' wear.

... have come up with some great thank-yous for you!

How will we use the money if the project is successfully funded?

We need 7.000 Euro for buying fabrics and the regional production of our collection. With the rest of the money, we want to fund a professional lookbook and a first appearance at a trade fair to present our designs to potential retailers from all over Germany.

Successfully funding our campaign will enable us to start producing our first extensive retailer collection right away, selling it to stores nationwide and develop successfully as a fashion brand.

Who are the people behind the project?

It all started in 2007, when - instead of moving away - freshly graduated fashion designer Monique Baumann realized the idea of a regional fashion brand with her own online shop.

Unexpectedly, mydearlove's clothing with all its detailed, colorful uniqueness made the hearts of many customers leap for joy within a short period of time and quickly became one of the best-selling shops on German handmade platform Dawanda.

As the demand grew, the mydearlove-team also got bigger. Soon, qualified fashion designer Anke Ott came on board and helped to push mydearlove forward.

In addition to the two designers, the team includes an employee for shipping and administration, a design assistant and seven tailors today. With your support, we want to grow further, make even more customers happy with our fashion and provide our employees with an exciting perspective for the future.
