We're making a documentary series that looks as awesome as Netflix, but is so contemporary that Fridays For Future gets hungry, too. This benefits restaurants, the environment, and us as a society.
We need start-up funding for the pilot episode so that we can then take the next steps and broadcast the docu-series.
The target group is anyone who likes to eat.
In other words: everyone.
We're looking for people who are interested in great food, sustainable living and, above all, exciting stories. And people who want to provide a little support.
This project also supports great restaurants and is intended to send a signal to Guide Michelin and Gault&Millau to include sustainability as a decisive argument for upscale cuisine.
Many of these great kitchens are still rather underdogs in the spectrum of the general understanding of German star cuisine. We show them to you!
The money goes to fund fair wages for the crew, equipment rental fees and advertising budget to get the idea out there. Everything above that goes into a fund for the restaurants.
I am Christian Schneider, a studied agronomist and freelance filmmaker from Berlin. With "haltdieklappe Filmproduktion" there's an unspent collective that is familiar with the many facets of the topic. In addition, we maintain support of Berlin food blogs and scene pages.
