Der Großteil der Beleuchtung im Theater am EvRG erfolgt mit Glühbirnen. Diese gehen leichter kaputt, verbrauchen viel Strom und werden sehr heiß. Mit einer Grundbeleuchtung aus LED-Scheinwerfern wird die Bühne nicht mehr so stark beheizt, der Stromverbrauch und die Wartungskosten sinken.
