IDENTITY - the title of our new live show we are going to be on tour with this fall and of course we planned a new IDENTITY album as well. Usually we fund the album production through our live earnings. But due to corona we had to cancel and postpone a lot of shows. So we came up with starting a crowdfunding campaign to be able to finance the album production. Here we offer you great unique goodies and the exclusive option to pre-order our new CD. What is this project all about?

What is the project goal and who is the project for?

Since summer 2019 we are working on our new live show IDENTITY. Songs are being selected, arranged and rehearsed which then should be recorded, mixed and mastered for a new album as well. Usually we save the earnings from our concerts to invest these in the album production. Due to Corona there are no concerts and thus no proceeds. For this reason we start this crowdfunding campaign and offer you to pre-order our new album and a great variety of other exclusive goodies, so we can bear the cost of the album production. We hope for the support of all ONAIR, A Cappella and music fans. Let’s help each other during these tough times.

Why would you support this project?

We live our dream making music. It’s not always easy. And it’s only working out because people are interested in us and our music. People coming to our concerts, buying CDs or stream our music online – that’s what we live for. Our economic fundament is playing live shows. If it is not possible to play those shows like it is in the current situation, we do have a problem. With this crowdfunding campaign you’re supporting us through this difficult times and you make it possible for us to offer a new album and continuing our journey.

How will we use the money if the project is successfully funded?

All proceeds of our crowdfunding campaign will be used to fund the production of the IDENTITY album. The costs of producing an album consist of studio rent, equipment, fees for produer, mixing and mastering the songs, travel costs, artwork, etc. - just to name a few. And if there's any money left there might be a budget for a super dope ONAIR music video.

Who are the people behind the project?

We are ONAIR - a vocal band from Berlin. We started with a first prize at the Aarhus Vocal-Festival in 2013 and since then made our way through the world of a cappella with 4 full evening live shows and five album releases. We run a nice little YouTube Channel and won several more prizes. We now put all our energy in the challenge of a new live show along with a new album. It will be named IDENTITY and it is going to be on tour with us starting in fall 2020. ONAIR are Jennifer Kothe, Marta Helmin, André Bachmann, Kristofer Benn und Patrick Oliver.
