This project is about ...

The paperback book Once upon a bike will have about 300 pages and more than 60 color pics.
But why would you want to read a book a German woman has written about her trip through the US? Here's why:

To reach this goal, we need to raise 6.700 EUR / 7,600 USD / 5.600 GBP.

"I read Eva Strehler's book Hin und Weg in its original German version on the recommendation of a friend. I was hoping to improve my reading ability in the language and perhaps expand my vocabulary a bit. I did indeed accomplish that, but I got so much more.

Reading Eva's book about her experiences traveling across the U.S. by motorbike is like strapping on a helmet and tagging along with her as she and Josi (her bike) encounter the people and places that made the journey unique. We get to experience America through her eyes as she navigates the challenges of traveling alone and on the cheap without a fixed schedule or firm itinerary.
