What is this project all about?

We all want to live well and we all want to do good.

We are convinced of that. But doing good is often easier said than done and doesn't quite fit into our everyday lives. The job usually keeps us busy, so there is little time left. When it comes to supporting an organization with a few euros a month, we have always been overwhelmed.

“What is the most sensible way to get involved in climate protection? Or for my city? Which organizations can I trust? What happens to my money?" – a thousand questions, a lot of research and hardly any answers.

That's why one4good makes doing good easy:

Individual and flexible - you can support several organizations at the same time, adjust or cancel your selection at a monthly basis.
Carefully selected organizations - guarantee a positive impact and save you the time of research.
Transparent - we follow the progress of the organizations, report regularly and disclose our financial activities.

What is the project goal and who is the project for?

To all those who don't have time but still want to change something:

With us you are guaranteed to find high-impact organizations, with which you can help people in need, strengthen animal and nature conservation and promote sustainability. Internationally or locally in your city. With just a few clicks you can make your contribution to the topics that are most important to you. We match you with your ideal impact in a few seconds.

We see ourselves as a grassroots movement. The goal is to drive real social and sustainable change with many small contributions.

Here a more concrete look:

100,000 people x €10 = €1,000,000
1,000,000 people x €10 = €10,000,000

So, if 100,000 people give €10 per month, that would be €1 million per month to drive sustainable change. With 1 million people, that would already be 10 million Euros per month. Certainly a long way to get there, but if you all participate, we will make.

FYI: Netflix currently has 214 million subscribers worldwide and Spotify 188 million. One can only dream what we could achieve together then!

Who are the people behind the project?

Two founders, a Purpose GmbH/b]

Nikolas and Daniel have known each other for over 15 years and grew up together in Munich. With a strong desire to make the world a little better, Nikolas as an entrepreneur and Daniel as an expert in Innovation Management and New Work have joined forces.

In the summer of 2021 we founded a steward-owned purpose company, the one4good GmbH. - all this while the world was going crazy in Corona peak times. A lot has happened since then. Thousands of ideas, little money, a lot of passion and sweat have now brought us here.

But what is actually a Purpose GmbH, or steward-ownership?

This is a new form of entrepreneurship in which the GmbH is owned by itself and profits are not withdrawn but always reinvested. A Purpose GmbH, and therefore one4good, cannot never be sold either.

Maybe you know Ecosia, Einhorn, or Patagonia, who also decided to go this new way a few weeks ago. Together we form a community of companies that think differently and put our planet first. And not the profit of a few.

As Purpose GmbH, we deliberately take a path against classic financing models that are based on extremely fast and unsustainable growth, but on maximum value for the few on top.

So we have to be creative and find other ways of financing. And we think crowdfunding is just ideal for us because our crowd and our mission are the focus here!
