The hottest film festival in East Westphalia goes into the next round. This year's theme: Fueled by Fantasy!
With your support, we're putting on our first international competition that will present short films far from the pornographic mainstream. In addition, there will be a jam-packed program of feature films, special analogue screenings and other surprises. Look forward to Q&As, panel discussions, a cozy get-together and the big award ceremony on the last day of the festival. More to be announced!

What is this project all about?
We are convinced that pornographic film art can do far more than polarize: It can bring us together and actively break down barriers. With openness and passion, we therefore want to cultivate a critical exchange about queer, diverse, feminist, heteronormative and other perspectives, thus forming a sex-positive counterpoint to outdated clichés and prejudices. To this end, we draw on the entirety of film history and link it to our present.
What is the project goal and who is the project for?
Through the selection, screening and discussion of films, we want to break down stereotypes, put norms to the test and counteract discriminatory and patronizing attitudes. It is particularly important to us to address and involve all interested adult persons, regardless of age, origin, gender, income and class.
Why would you support this project?
Because viewing and processing pornography as well as dealing with topics like sexuality, discrimination and emancipation are highly controversial in social and political settings, we are largely cut off from most official support platforms. Community actions like crowdfunding are therefore a great chance to nevertheless establish an independent porn film festival that can really set something in motion.
How will we use the money if the project is successfully funded?
The funding generated will be used to cover the following expenses:
- Rental fees for films
- Technical equipment and room rental
- Honorarium and travel expenses for guests
- Advertising material and festival equipment
- Print costs and media design
Who are the people behind the project?
PaderPorn e.V. is a non-profit association that was founded in 2023 and has both student and non-student members. The project started in 2021 from seminars at the University of Paderborn and is now managed entirely on a voluntary basis as part of the association's work.
