The money will be used for a heating system, and of course we would need a little bit more..
This house is about 180 years old, my family has it for 40 years and I spent a good part of my childhood around here. It´s situated in a tiny village, and an empty house is always a dead spot..so I will try to make it open for more people by renting it out, as well as giving it to families who cannot afford vacations for some time each year. Our neighbours are happy about it, too, and will supply free range eggs and honey for your breakfasts, as well as be there for help in case anything´s needed. So we started with the work, and now there are big steps ahead, as the heating and the biological wastewater clarification. So we need your help, and are grateful for it already! Each tiny bit will help, and maybe you can spread the word to more people?! Thank you!
A place for all who can imagine to spend some time there..you can book already and then get your weekend or week once we´re ready. So come around, walkers, nature lovers, silence seekers, sensualists, cross-country-skiers, medivialists, bird watchers, writers, componists, families with kids who can finally run freely(no cars passing the house), porcino gatherers, lovers...
Because I won´t make it without you, but am willing to put in every free minute, my ideas and energy and manual skills, and all capital, to make this place open to all who like it and enjoy it just as I do. This old house at the edge of the wood was a good place for so many people for more than a century, and it will be an enrichment for the village as well, in an area which has only nature as a resource, but plenty of it.
We do all we can ourselves, and we can do a lot. But a heating system and a biological wastewater clarification just do cost money, and a new water pipe to the house (the old one looks like it´s 150 years old..) as well. We´d like new wooden windows, not plastic ones, and of course beds and chairs and all..so whatever comes in will meet a need.
And if there is much more than we hope for, there will be a sauna in the garden shed ..
My name is Tina Lindemann, born in Berlin and living in Vienna, Austria. I am a medical doctor with the main focus of my work being holistic Reichian Bodypsychotherapy and Medicine and Acupuncture. As a child from a big city, I enjoyed it a lot to spend the holidays in the countryside, running freely in the woods, and to get to know the friendly people in this area. I feel very connected to this place, and while I might be a nomad otherwise, here I feel at home and come to rest. I very much wish to keep this place alive and share it with others, and I am grateful for all the support by my partner Robert, and yours, if you like so. Thank you!
