The funding covers all production costs.
By each 1000€-step, a bonus video about the compositions will be released!
What do musicians do, when concerts cannot take place?
What is music for, when it can't sound on stage?
As a conductor, composing has always accompanied me. In the lockdown, it was the only way to artistically express the special circumstances and to continue to exist as an artist.
Several pieces have been composed, which are to be rehearsed, premiered and recorded professionally with your help.
The following pieces are to be recorded:
- Sonata for piano (March 2021) if we reach the start level and raise 5.500€
- Images lunaires for harp and string quartet (October 2021) if we reach the next level and raise €8.900
- Orchestral work (in progress) if we reach the next level and raise €14.400
The recordings will be made by a professional team of sound engineers in great sounding halls.
With your help, some new music, that until now only existed as sheet music, can be made audible. Through the recording, a wide audience can be reached. The music, albeit modern, reaches a large audience and remains a communication medium between composer, performer and listeners.
The costs break down as follows:
- 75%: recording costs (room rental, sound engineer, instrument transport, etc.)
- 25%: Fees for the performing musicians
Your contribution will not be used as a composer's fee.
