Registration, fuel to Ukraine, return journey. Purchase of a third off-road vehicle.
As in June 2023, February 2024 and May 2024, we would like to expressly support first responder units whose sole aim is to save lives.
We have already purchased two cars (Mercedes ML 270), which are waiting to be driven off. We were able to finance the purchase price largely from other donations. With this appeal for donations, we would like to finance necessary expenses such as minor repairs, registration, transfer and the return journey, but in particular also buy a THIRD CAR. We are already looking diligently.
The third year of the war will soon be over. The situation is becoming increasingly difficult due to Russia's barbaric actions, as well as insufficient aid and appeasement from the West. The people of Ukraine are once again facing a winter without light, heat and water. Russia continues to attack civilian targets with missiles - now completely unmasked - leaving destruction and death in their wake. Meanwhile, Ukrainian defenders bravely hold out in trenches, hoping, fighting, defending and attacking. Die. Are wounded.
Mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, sons and daughters. Every life counts.
The immediate period after being wounded is particularly critical. A quick evacuation from the so-called zero line (place of immediate combat operations) increases the chances of survival immensely.
As always, the cars will also be loaded with relief supplies and we will decide at short notice what is available and more urgently needed. The last few times, for example, we have delivered generators, power stations, medical supplies, medicines, children's clothing and other items.
Who gets the car?
How do the cars get to Ukraine?
Like last time, we will buy the cars in Germany (two have already been bought) and hand them over personally in Ukraine. Ralf, Alex, Ewgenij and Konstantin will drive the cars.
Which models are we talking about?
This is not about a classic ambulance. These are often too heavy to drive to the front lines. Smaller vans or off-road vehicles are best suited for such first rescues.
As already mentioned, we have already purchased two Mercedes ML 270. We have had good experiences with them in the past. MLs are relatively cheap and very reliable, as the Ukrainians keep telling us
How can I be sure that my money will be used for its intended purpose?
We will document every step: Donation proceeds, purchases (with invoices), transportation, deployment, etc.
For our exclusively non-profit activities, we founded the association Ukraine Helfer e.V. at the end of 2023. We are recognized by the tax office as a non-profit association and can also issue donation receipts.
What else can I do to help?
Please share this appeal for donations with your friends, acquaintances and colleagues in messengers and social networks.
We want to help the Ukrainian people, with concrete action! We want to save as many lives as possible.
The calculation is simple: the more first rescue vehicles there are, the more lives are saved. This is because rescue vehicles also come under fire and are destroyed. Some of the cars we have supplied have already been damaged or destroyed, the passengers wounded and worse.
Your support helps to protect human destinies and basic rights such as life and health. We want to support the defenders of Ukraine and the values of the Western world.
Perhaps some of you have already donated to Ukraine. Maybe even several times. We and especially the Ukrainians thank you for that!
One reason for all previous and this crowdfunding is always to offer people the opportunity to participate directly in a concrete project with concrete people with their donation. You will see what happens with your money from start to finish.
Everyone can help directly. With all the suffering that this war brings, this idea instills us with confidence and energy.
We will finance and carry out the following ourselves:
Lists of the complete editions of the last projects can be found here: Mai 2024, Februar 2024, Juli 2023, März 2023, Dezember 2022, Juni 2022.
By the way: Your pledged money will only be collected if the project reaches the target amount.

Ralf
Hi,I'm Ralf, 50 years young, have two half-Ukrainian children and am driving exciting purchasing projects at a large construction machinery dealer. I live in Spessart in the district of Miltenberg and am currently accommodating refugees.
Before the war, I was often in Ukraine, a great country with many beautiful places. During the war, I have been on site with 8 aid transports so far.
Ewgenij
Hi, my name is Ewgenij and I am 37 years old. I am a lawyer and consultant in a ministry in NRW and live in Düsseldorf.
My older child often asks when we can go to Ukraine. She knows all kinds of songs and places - like grandma's house - from stories. If that makes me so sad, how are the children in Ukraine and those who have fled? Let alone those whose fathers or mothers will not be coming back?
Against this background, I consider aid for Ukraine to be existential.
Konstantin
Hi, I'm Konstantin, 39 years old. I have a degree in computer engineering. Professionally, I am co-founder and CTO of a start-up in the IT sector. I live in Düsseldorf and have two children. In my free time, I jog and love going to the mountains.
I was born in Ukraine but have lived in Germany for 30 years. The most important thing for me at the moment is to help Ukraine.
Alexander
Hey, I'm Alexander, 46, a native of Ukraine and the owner of two small companies in the IT and logistics sectors. I have been living in Germany for over 30 years now, currently Düsseldorf is my base, my 3 children also live here.
I am helping my home country to overcome these difficult and dark times and regularly travel over with aid convoys.
Petra
Freedom is the highest good ...
... and it doesn't defend itself!
Hi, I'm Petra and I'm a committed pacifist.
I worked as a teacher at a comprehensive school for many years; my former pupils have roots all over the world and more and more of them have come to us because they could no longer live safely in their home countries due to the war. A legitimate reason for me!
With Putin's war of aggression against Ukraine, which violates international law, against a country whose citizens do not want to lose their finally regained statehood and freedom under any circumstances, Ukrainian children also came to my classes. They have lost relatives, are suffering from severe depression and are desperate. Their fathers, grandfathers and uncles are defending their homeland on the eastern border of democratic Europe. These children want to see their families again - and alive! Humanitarian aid in their home country is essential! The Ukraine aid workers are providing it and have my support.
Association: Ukraine Helfer e.V.
Last year, we founded a non-profit association dedicated to saving lives and providing healthcare, specifically aid for Ukrainians, and we work exclusively on a voluntary basis. We are also working again with KIYV DEFENDERS - a non-profit organization in Ukraine that has existed since 2014 and has already supported the protesters during Euromaidan.
We have now met the guys and girls in person several times in Kyiv and now also in Germany and have carried out several projects together, in particular the last three projects (May 2024, February 2024, July 2023). Because it went so well, one more time :) And then again...
Kiyv Defenders are responsible for selecting the units the car gets, by the way.
Together
But we are not alone, of course. “We” - these are ordinary people: Family, friends, acquaintances and colleagues, members - people who don't look the other way.
Through family, friends, acquaintances and colleagues and through crowdfunding, we have collected donations worth almost €90,000 since the beginning of the war (not including donations in kind) and used them to finance the following, among other things:
Ukraine Helfer
“The main thing is no war” is a motto of older generations. For decades, European society has been lulled into a sense of security. Now there is war. The longing for peace is great.
We are painfully aware that regaining peace requires a struggle. Ukraine is fighting this battle for all of us. This project supports Ukraine in its fight for peace, justice and basic human rights such as freedom, life and health.
