"Sweet death" - death suits us! Our new program needs an album!

„Sweet death“- death suits us! We are RömerRok and „Sweet death“ is an exploration about death and transience. We would love for this project to live as an album. Scary, beautiful and all taken with a pinch of salt.

What is this project all about?

Our project is about the production of our debut album "Sweet death". We try to shed light on the subject of transience and present songs by Kurt Weill, Sting, Roger Quilter and Henry Purcell amongst others. Death is a subject that confronts taboos and social norms. By making it our central theme we hope to break the reticence about it!

What is the project goal and who is the project for?

Our aim is to produce an album that belongs in every music collection - the turkish delight of songs about death. A must have for everyone!
Our project is for people who are interested in the culture that surrounds the subject, social critics and anyone who is not afraid of facing their own mortality.

Why would you support this project?

Our project unites musical rarities from different genres through the centuries. "Sweet death" is an album that is fascinating musically as well as thematically. With your support we can realise this project. As a reward we will come and perform for you, we will print the fantastic artwork of Christian Chladny on your shirt and last but not least send you the "Sweet death" album.

How will we use the money if the project is successfully funded?

Funding of the recording studio, the sound engineer, mixing, mastering, production of the CD, royalties and paying Christian Chladny for his fantastic graphic design.

Who are the people behind the project?

Duo RömerRok (Anne Römer and Viktoria Rok)
