Berliners and LoopHole – Lovers! The ghost of gentrification has finally reached Boddinstrasse and we need your help: Our landlord is demanding a tremendous 300% increase in rent, which would make it impossible for us to continue.

What is this project all about?
We want to continue and keep the LoopHole going.
That's why we had to hire a lawyer to help us deal with the landlord who is refusing to respond to us directly.
And sadly the lawyer is too expensive to handle without your help.
What is the project goal and who is the project for?
Our deadline is the 1st October and if we can't find a solution beforehand we will have to vacate the premises and LoopHole, as we know it, will be gone. Meaning Neukölln and Berlin will lose another space for creatives, musicians, filmmakers, performers, party people and everyone else who joined us in the beautiful and enjoyable past years of Loophole.
Why would you support this project?
In the last 8 years we have presented well over 6000 artists, musicians, DJ's, filmmakers and performers, we've organized 5 years of Boddinale Filmfestival, we've hosted KinoLoop - our monthly filmmakers network and tried to provide a space for the fresh and upcoming talents that can't get booked in bigger venues.
Now we need your help, to find a solution with the landlord to stay in LoopHole and stay open for even more artists to come.
How will we use the money if the project is successfully funded?
Our minimum funding goal is 5000 euros, but we would love to achieve even more as we estimated that if we are forced to close the costs will be around 10000 euros.
All coins that we get and after all expenses are still left, we will invest in a big free LoopHole Party!

LoopHole is an institution of alternative music and events in Berlin and Neukölln - so throw a coin in the pot and help us to save the LoopHole whale!
