Das "Wehringhauser Schnurlos Festival" ist ein alternatives, nichtkommerzielles Event genreübergreifender Musik verschiedener Bands und Musiker in entspannter Atmosphäre. Auf dem Gelände gibt es Essen und Getränke. Zudem ist vor Ort Zelten möglich. Weiterhin werden Kinderprogramm und ökologische Toiletten angeboten. Der Eintritt ist frei. "Schnurlos", weil die Musikanlage nicht über Netzstrom, sondern mittels Akku(s) betrieben wird. Dies ist autark und mobil an unterschiedlichen Orten möglich.
