Who we are

For more than two years we, Maya, Jonas, Stefan and Alex, have been working on music, playing concerts, laughing, dancing and singing together. With our new band member and multi instrumentalist Matthias, the sound of the band got completed. Now we are ready to put all those experiences, dreams and tales in an album and share it with you.

What we do

The campaign we are launching is meant for recording our new album with music that is as versatile as the personal stories of the people around us. We miss the connection with the audience and we find it important to still have that connection to our community, fans and friends especially in times where we cannot come together.

This campaign will not just enable us to keep on working, but it will also make it possible to bring some of the bonfire warmth and coziness home to you. Because everybody needs some sand under their feet and a good look at the stars once in a while.

Your role

With your help you will not only contribute to the making of our new album self-made by an independent, hard-working band. But also you will get a wide variety of goodies like a private concert, songwriting sessions, birthday presents and many more.

But more importantly you will become part of Sophie’s World's Family, will be taken to unknown places, listen to untold tales and to nice handmade music.

Moreover you will help not only us as a band to record 12-14 of our own written songs in a studio in Cologne, but you will also help other artists who we need to be able to record and bring out the album. That means that you can help over 10 people to keep up their good work in times of the pandemic. We cannot compete with the big labels and therefore we will need your help to realize our project.

What you can do?

Making an album is not just a lot of work but also expensive. We have to go to a studio, have a sound engineer, do the mixing and mastering and also produce the CDs. That all comes with a lot of costs.
For 3000€ we can pay the basic drums and bass recordings and mastering in a professional studio. For 9000€ there would be a better sound to the album and also a video, guest musicians, nice designs, behind the scenes footage and many other nice things.

The more money we raise, the more professionally we can produce our album. You can help us now by buying one of our goodies/services.
