In Silence Song, more than 80 people have come together to make a film about
Love turning a piano and destroying harmony. The film is already in post-production

Silence & Song. A contradiction or mutually dependent relationship? In the film Silence Song, these parameters of silence and sound, as well as immobility and movement, are used to negotiate interpersonal connections - as burdened loneliness lying in a wasteland, impaired by a hunger for love or as an island of hope, making and making plans for the future together, perceiving energies and exchanging, giving warmth as common parts of happiness. Relationships lead the way through Silence Song led by young women. Symbolically, as mysterious beings like embodiments in paintings - muses who become independent, fast, loud, unpredictable, curious, independent, whispering, sensitive, they enter into various connections - from dependent ones, releasing from co-dependent ones to creative ones in music and with the art itself.

This film aims to empower women - support their visibility and give them strength.
Annett Stenzel captured the feelings of women in different situations using cinematic means. In collaboration with musicians, she has illustrated the experience of the characters with sounds.

A series of short films has already been produced from the film material and has been presented at festivals and art exhibitions since 2020. The positive response encourages the initiator to make the completed experimental music film (127 min.) accessible to a wider audience in selected cinemas and other festivals.

This film makes you think about yourself and the role of women in society. The more people see this film, the easier it is for them to recognize unconscious behavioral patterns and to talk about their own experiences. The relevance of this project is expressed in a subsidy from the Hamburg Film Fund for the production of this film. The author and director has already recruited 80 people to help make the film. Your creative, temporal and financial commitment should - after post-production this year - lead to a public presentation of the film in 2024.

Only through successful financing of this project can the prepared sound design in high studio quality in a 5.1. version to be mixed. The film is then converted into a digital format that gives it the best audio and visual quality in the cinema. After that, Silence Song can make its way to festivals, go on cinema tours and, with feeling and music on the screen, create a space for Creating understanding, trust and community of women.
