What is this project all about?
The EP is going to be my first publication in physical form. The songs tell the story of a formerly broken-hearted musician who has regained his strength and confidence through his songs, embarking on a trip to seek adventure, with a hunger for life, exciting encounters and playing live on stage.
What is the project goal and who is the project for?
The goal of this project is the production and publication of my first EP "Back to Life". I'd like people to take part in my stories and I want to capture the vibe of my trip, in preferably good audio quality. Musically speaking, my songs are for lovers of acoustic Indie(rock) and folkish stuff etc.
Why would you support this project?
The EP is a milestone in my musical career. My listeners will finally be able to listen to my songs in studio quality. Apart from that, it's just a nice thing to literally hold your own songs in the palm of your hand and to give people a CD to take home with them after a concert. Also, that EP will make it easier for me to get gigs in the future. Since a recording studio isn't exactly a cheap thing to book, I could use some financial support. Your contribution will help me to fulfill my dream.
How will we use the money if the project is successfully funded?
After a successful funding campaign I'm going to invest the money in recording and production of my songs, as well as in pressing and printing of CDs and covers etc.
Who are the people behind the project?
Behind my project there's also the Cologne-based indie label Sofa Records Cologne, with two friends as experienced and supportive producers.
