STOUT 3rd Album - Irish Folk ReDefined

We are STOUT and we play Irish Folk like nobody else does - Irish Folk ReDefined.
This means we do play Irish Folk and it shall sound like it, but we mash it up with all our influences, all genres and all ideas that come to us - from Swing to Pop, from Bluegrass to Heavy Metal.
We want to capture that for eternity for the third time now and hence go to the recording studio in May to record our next album.

We start in the studio directly after the STOUTfunding on May 01st. We'll enter the Artes recording studio in Esslingen to again capture the best STOUT-sound in the world with Jürgen. We're planning some big things and want to bring you surprising, playful, yet always folky music.

The goal is to (yet again) make the best STOUT-album in the world ;-) !

We're totally passionate about our music and always love to test the limits of what to make and get out of Irish Folk. Seemingly we're not the only ones enjoying this and so we hope that your support in the STOUTfunding is as brilliant and big as at our concerts.

In the recording studio we'll take advantage of the bigger possibilities compared to our live duo set. We'll also move boundaries here and experiment with our music. To make all that possible we of course need the money.
Hence we are thankful for all support and want to show our appreciation with special thank-yous.

We already booked the studio time in May. And after we recorded the sound we still have lots to do:

The CD production has to be finalised (editing, mixing, mastering), we need nice pictures, a great cover, booklet, etc., the CDs must be produced (pressing, printing), guest musicians will be paid, and so on and so forth...
And because good work should be paid fairly we fund our project here.
