In March 2018 we will drive three cars to West Africa where they will be auctioned and proceeds be given to support local social project.
We are a rally team which participates in charity car rallies. Destination of these rallies are mainly developing countries in which the vehicles are auctioned and the proceeds are donated to local charities. Our latest project: Trier, Germany to Banjul, Gambia by car. In West Africa we will support several charities which were established with the help of a nonprofit from Dresden, Germany and support additional projects enroute.

What is this project all about?
The project's main focuse is to help. The bespoke charity rally with destination Banjul in West Africa strives to foster philantrophic projects in Gambia. Thus raising significant amounts in aid of humanitarian projects ever since its initiation over 10 years ago. Besides the focuse region Gambia we are currently working on another side project which we would like to support enroute (details coming soon).
What is the project goal and who is the project for?
Our goal is to support humanitarian projects and facilities in Banjul which were initiated and supported by a charity from Dresden throughout the years. Those facilities include two hospitals, two schools, a soup kitchen for homeless and various other locations such as a joinery and a garage. To further sustain these localities our campaign targets people who are keen to contribute to that cause.
Why would you support this project?
We believe that’s up to everyone personally. However, our team's confidence in the project stems from the remarkable and measurable impact the Dresden-Banjul-Organisation NGO by improving or even saving lives of people in need. Most convincing to us is the fact that everything is handled with maximum transparency and support aid and donations are handed over to beneficiaries by us in person. Thus making sure they get exactly where help is needed.
How will we use the money if the project is successfully funded?
All funds collected are solely used to foster humanitarian projects in West Africa which are part of the rally.
Who are the people behind the project?
The project is hosted by our officially registered charity Team-Desert-Taxi e.V., which operates in aid of the Dresden-Banjul-Organisation NGO. This NGO has a wealth of experience and supports educational, medical and social projects in Gambia for over 10 years.
