"The Most Evil Kitchen You've Every Heard of" is a horror movie. Protagonist Cindy has to face an evil force in her kitchen in the dead of night. The invisible creature is relentless and brutal and all hell breaks loose when Cindy has to fight for her life - surrounded by flying knives, broken plates and exploding cornflakes.

What is this project all about?
Everything is creepy at night.
Even your own kitchen.
Cindy wakes up to the sound of a ringing phone in the middle of the night. The sounds of the kitchen radio turning on and off mysteriously lure her to check her kitchen. It doesn't take long for her to notice that the kitchen appliances are not moving on their own - within seconds an invisible monster attacks Cindy and she has to fight fiercly against the supernatural being.
Cindy is a determined protagonist who faces her fears in a fight for her life and doesn't run from the invisible creature.
In our project we combine special effects with digital visual effects. On set we could realize a lot of the effects in a practical way: with fishing lines, air pressure and other tricks.
The final film however still has to be created now in postproduction. Right now, we are working on the compositiong of the single elements and on the modelling of the monster.
What is the project goal and who is the project for?
We want to create a suspenseful film with an immersive atmosphere and complex effects.
For that, we dared to delve into visual effects and stunts to challenge ourselves.
Our film is for every horror movie fan and film enthusiast. But also for those who like to make movies themselves and want to support film students who take on a challenge.

How will we use the money if the project is successfully funded?
We finished the shoot of our film under Covid-restrictions and are working in post production right now. There is still a lot to do digitally: visual effects, 3D models, compositing and various other effects. This process consumes a lot of time, so we depend on financial support for workforces, software, and hardware.
And maybe a pizza on the side.
Additionally, we want to submit our film to international festivals. This also comes with fees and additional costs - your support would also help us with that - because what is a film if no one sees it?
Who are the people behind the project?
We are a highly motivated group of film students of the University of Applied Sciences Darmstadt, who like to challenge their skills and capabilities.
