Pay for the first edition of SURF GUITAR BOOK Vol. 2
What is the project goal and who is the project for?
All guitarists who like the twangy guitar style from the California coast!
The book can be an introduction to the surf style, but also offers many interesting suggestions for advanced musicians.
Why would you support this project?
Surf Guitar is one of the coolest styles of music out there but there isn't much literature about it that really explains how it works.
This book is the follow up to the SURF GUITAR BOOK and lets you dive even deeper into the style!
How will we use the money if the project is successfully funded?
The money will be used to pay for the printing of the first edition, the graphics and a small promotional campaign.
Who are the people behind the project?
Martin Schmidt is the guitarist of the German surf punk combo THE RAZORBLADES. He founded his first band at 17, became a professional musician a few years later and hasn't put the guitar down since. In addition to touring in Europe and the USA, he worked as a guitar teacher, music journalist and composer. He runs his own record label GENERAL SCHALLPLATTEN, books his concerts and is the author of the books SURF BEAT (a lexicon of surf music) THE GUITAR HERO (a playalong book for guitarists), THE LITTLE GUITAR HERO (guitar school for children)
