What is this project all about?

At the beginning wanted the two romans Ercole Nisini (Baroque trombone) and Luca Marconato (Film director) just to make a simple videoclip about the first movement of Albinoni’s Concerto a 5 no.2 which Ercole arranged for Trombone and recorded on his CD „The Baroque Trombone“. ….following the idea of Dresden and working on a real Screenplay grew into us the consciousness that such a (love) story with this music could not be separated from this city. The Idea of the short film became for us the responsibility to be testimonial and at the same time a reflection of the heritage of 500 years Italian culture. Next to the Video there will be the „Backstage“ video and the 3 tracks of the recorded Albinoni Concerto for Trombone and Strings produced on a limited Maxi single CD/DVD Edition. A real collecting piece for our supporters.

What is the project goal and who is the project for?

We would like to give to Baroque Music and to the image of Dresden a new dimension and a new point of view. The project is for everybody who would like to experience baroque music a and the beauty of Dresden in a new way and who would listen to this music and watch to these images again and again.

Why would you support this project?

We love baroque music and we love this city. We worked almost one year on this project giving our best and all our heart. Through this short film we would like to show you Dresden under a different point of view: Dresden as a city of culture of course, but also as city of love …. for sure different as a city where xenophobia today is still alive

How will we use the money if the project is successfully funded?

We could already cover part of the costs thanks of two Sponsors… but it is not jet enough. Who works with Video production knows how expensive such a production can be: planning, managing, Film production (pre and post production), color, cameras, travel expenses and so on. We would like to realize also the backstage Video and a limited DVD production for ours supporters.

Who are the people behind the project?

Ercole Nisini - Musician, Baroque trombone player, Roman living with his family in Dresden since eleven years.

Luca Marconato - Film director, musician, lute player.
