Purchase of a VW van for the 100th Brigade and possibly firefighting equipment for the military fire department in Lviv.
The war has been going on for almost 9 months now. In the meantime, it is no longer necessary to explain to anyone what it is all about: a ruthless aggressor is perpetrating terror on a democratic state, destroying civilian infrastructure, indiscriminately firing missiles at homes, killing children, women, men. This aggressor must be stopped. We would like to make our contribution by bringing a VW transporter to Ukraine.
We have already proven that we can do this with our last successful crowdfunding in May.
The Transport Unit of the 100th Brigade of the Territorial Defense of the Ukrainian Armed Forces is in urgent need of a transporter to properly perform its duties.
How do the van and firefighting equipment get to Ukraine?
Ralf will buy the van in Germany and drive it personally to the destination. On the way he will personally deliver the fire fighting equipment to the military fire department in Lviv. He participates himself with a donation of 1000€ in the project, takes over the fuel, necessary overnight stays and the return journey by bus or train to Germany.
How can I be sure that my money will find its intended purpose?
As much as possible, we will document every step: Donation income, purchases (with invoices), transport, deployment, etc.
We've also been helping since the early days of the war (with or without crowdfunding) and documenting our projects on
Which model should it be?
We are aiming for a VW T4 or T5. Diesel is a must, all-wheel drive preferred. But we can't rule out a comparable model in the end.
What firefighting equipment is needed?
The military fire department in Lviv, which is located at the Western Command of the Air Force of Ukraine, named concrete, urgently needed goods to us.
These are mainly firefighting clothing, helmets, hand lamps, spotlights for lighting the operation sites, winches and chain saws. Through fire departments we try to obtain decommissioned, but still good operational clothing free of charge. It is important for us to pack the van with as much needed material as possible.
How else can I help?
If you have suitable vehicles for sale yourself or know of suitable car dealers with concrete suggestions, please get in touch. Every tip and every Euro helps!
Please ask your local volunteer fire departments which clothing, helmets and still functioning lighting are no longer needed and whether they can be donated (permission from the respective municipality is also required). Through our network throughout Germany and neighboring countries, we provide for the collection or cheap transport at our expense.
Otherwise, please share this call for donations with your friends, acquaintances and colleagues in messengers and social networks.
There is not much to say about this: we want to help the Ukrainian people, and with concrete actions!
Your support helps to protect human destinies and elementary rights such as life and health. Support can ensure that crimes such as torture and rape do not continue.
After the world learned about Butcha, Isjum, and the widespread destruction of civilian infrastructure, it is obvious to us: every kilometer that is defended and every small village that is not captured or retaken prevents further atrocities. That is why haste is essential. Literally every day counts.
Perhaps some of you have already donated to Ukraine. Maybe even several times. We thank you for it!
But maybe some of you don't feel comfortable to participate in big and anonymous fundraising campaigns, because you don't really know what will happen with your money and who will get it in the end.
One reason to start this crowdfunding was to give people the opportunity to directly participate in a concrete project with concrete people with their donation. You will see from the beginning to the end what happens with your money, how the donated vehicle will be used later, how the equipment will be used.
We are convinced that really everyone can help. You can personally contribute directly to fight evil. How awesome is that? With all the suffering going on right now, this thought instills confidence and drive.
This possibility of being able to do something is liberating. Try it and you won't regret it!
Depending on the amount raised in the end, we will use the money to fund the following:
If there is anything left over, we will purchase other needed goods from it. We receive constantly updated overviews of what is urgently needed on the ground, e.g. technical equipment, medicines and humanitarian aid.
If there is enough money for several cars, we would buy an ambulance (which is urgently needed in Kupjansk, east of Kharkiv). Ralf would then also personally bring this car to Ukraine at his own expense (fuel, overnight stays, return trip).

I am Ralf, 48, graduate industrial engineer. On January 1, 2023, I will start a new job and I still have some vacation time left. I would like to use these days off to support Ukraine with your help. I live in Spessart, near Aschaffenburg and have two half-Ukrainian children who live in Germany. I have been to Ukraine very often. In my free time, I support the local volunteer fire department, jog and take care of my vintage cars.
I had been thinking about how to best use my remaining vacation of almost four weeks in December to help Ukraine. For personal help on the ground, there are a lot of volunteers who usually stay longer than I am able to. But the right cars and equipment are always desperately needed. In my research, I came across Konstantin's earlier crowdfunding. We quickly got to talking and made the plan for this crowdfunding
Like Konstantin, I had also collected and donated together with a Polish friend in the spring of 2022. Over 4,600€ was collected at that time, mainly for medical and military equipment. Through the Polish aid project Razem z Ukrainą, we sent this to Luzk in Ukraine via the Polish collection center in Lublin.
We were also able to convince our employer, a textile retailer, to donate a whole sprinter load full of thermal clothing. These a work colleague and I personally took to the collection point in Poland, near the Ukrainian border.

Hi, I am Konstantin, 37 years old. I am a graduate engineer of technical computer science. Professionally I am co-founder and CTO of a startup in the IT field. I live in Düsseldorf and have two children. In my free time I jog and love to go to the mountains.
I was born in Ukraine, but have been living in Germany for almost 30 years. The most important thing for me at the moment is to help Ukraine.
But, of course, I am not alone. "We" - these are ordinary people: Friends, acquaintances and colleagues. People who cannot look away.
So far we have collected and donated the following for Ukraine among friends ,acquaintances and colleagues:
