We bring the experience of growing and harvesting your own plants directly to your home - fully automated and sustainable.
With our system we want to give EVERYONE access to fresh, chemical free and own herbs, salads, vegetables and even strawberries!
We bring you the experience of sustainable and organic plants all year round - without chemicals, without CO2 and without plastic waste.
Our natural nutrient medium (BrightSoil®) in combination with the app and a decentralized sensor tracking enables us to optimize the growth and nutrients of your plants.
In the future we will be able to customize them to your individual needs and thus raise your health and well-being to an optimal level - in a completely natural way.

What is the project goal and who is the project for?

No matter how much time, space or know-how you have in the field of herb or vegetable cultivation - URGROW helps you and supports and accompanies you from sowing to harvest.
A PIECE OF NATURE IN EVERYDAY LIFE.
No matter if you cook every day, or if you only prepare big menus from time to time - URGROW enables you to have continuous availability and harvest - so you get real freshness on your plate, and in natural quality!
Why would you support this project?
URGROW produces the indoor gardens from 95 percent recycled materials in Germany.
The biodegradable body consists mainly of wood waste, the built-in electronics are completely recyclable. Traditionally, inorganic planting substances and chemical fertilizers are used in the hydroponics technology.
URGROW has further developed this technology and dispenses with questionable substrates of rock wool or plastic. Instead, the seed cones offered are made of BrightSoil®.
The specially developed organic medium can easily be disposed of as organic waste after use. BrightSoil® already contains all the nutrients required by the plants, making chemical fertilizers superfluous.

How will we use the money if the project is successfully funded?
If the funding target is met, we will deliver the first URGROW systems in May 2021.
A URGROW system, including a BrightSoil® seed cone set, will be available for 249.00 euros, in regular sales.
Your support will help us to complete the design of the systems and speed up the production of the small series, as we can reach the minimum order quantities of our suppliers.
Who are the people behind the project?
URGROW was founded in 2018 by Pascal Wolf and develops the world's first intelligent and sustainable indoor garden for the home. In 2018 URGROW won the Strascheg Award for Entrepreneurship and this year the Breakthrough Award 2020 in the category Sustainability & Environment.
