Velo Poker

For a long time now, I have been photographing bikes and their riders in Berlin. I noticed that they often complete each other in peculiar ways (check IG @berlincyclestyle).

These encounters were an inspiration for this project. I drew people and their bicycles in a style influenced by French comic illustrations that I used to love as a child. I hope these cards will put a smile on your face.

In the following weeks, you can help decide via Instagram (@sixerberlin) which jokers will end up in the final version of the deck and how the box and the card backs should look like. There you will also get to know all the characters bit by bit.

I'm hoping to make this an ongoing series with new characters added in every newly released deck.

The deck will be high quality offset print and will therefore very durable. It is designed to be taken on a bike tour.
