A band consisting of four brothers that bring different musical influences together to form Vows. In a studio near Dresden they forge a music that blends US-postrock with Indiepop and british wave which ultimately lives by the brotherly bonds. One could call it blind understanding but their understanding and apprehension is not blind, rather seeing, looking out for one another and looking for the mutual.

What is this project all about?
Over the course of the last two years we spent time writing, recording and mixing songs for our debut album. Up until this point we financed everything ourselves. For the last steps of production we are asking for your help. By pre-ordering the album and other things you enable us to go through with the last part of this production.
What is the project goal and who is the project for?
Like it is in a band, we play music because we greatly enjoy it and we want to share it with people that find our music meaningful and thus give it an additional meaning in return.
Why would you support this project?
Because someone likes us and our music and - like us - believes in physical products like vinyls. And because someone wants to help us make our dream of our first record come true.
How will we use the money if the project is successfully funded?
Besides releasing it in digital format we would like to bring our album out on 12'' vinyl. The collected money finances the mastering of the album, the pressing of the vinyl, the production of the covers and the actual release of the album. All money that will be collected on top of this will be fully invested in Vows. As in producing a music video, preparing the tour and to pay our friends that have helped us making the record with their talent and time.
Who are the people behind the project?
Vows are Benjamin, David, Joshua und Manuel Weingärtner. By a decent upbringing we found music and some great friendships. Involved in the making of this project were
