WITH LOVE FROM MADAGASCAR is a adventure documentary about two film-makers cycling through Madagascar for two months, investigating how the island vanishes and what it does to ones life. Madagascar is the most fascinating, unique and sensitive place in the world. And it is in alarming danger. How Madagascar goes, so goes the earth.
The filmmakers visit conservation and charity programs all over the island in order to find out, what we can do and what has been tried to do. Madagascar and it's environmental and economic issues is a mirror for our planet. The people are either very poor or very rich, fighting for survival and identity. The island has a beautiful, delicate and unique wildlife, so incredibly special, that it appears to be another planet. Some say, it is the cradle of life. Now, it becomes a coulisse for an epic journey deep into the essence of life.
Joy, pain, hunger, mosquito attacks, doubts, rain, heat, intelligent lemurs and fossas are just some of the dangers and wonders the filmmakers will face. Exposed to nature for two entire months on a nearly uncertain course through Madagascar, the adventurers push their limits. Together with them, you will find out more about the island, the power of hope and the journey ones soul makes on this mindblowing trip.
Klara Harden and Karsten Prühl will share their inner journey, their personal development, thoughts and anxieties on their mission on the dusty paths of the 6th continent.

This project is for everyone, who would love to make a change.
The aim of the documentary is to help organisations and projects in Madagascar by presenting them to the world within an emotional and exciting story. We all have a need for change. It is the chance for hope that keeps us on the surface. That lets us fight all odds and helps us not to give up. Madagascar is in danger, yet it is up to us to save this unique world. And with your help, we will take another step to make a change.
WITH LOVE FROM MADAGASCAR is going to be the first of many cinematic, intimate and emotional adventure documentaries, that explore environmental and social issues around the world.
"WITH LOVE FROM MADAGASCAR is a proof to myself and others, that there still is a possibility for change. We are not helpless. We are not trapped. We have to do something against all the big problems of the world. Because we can!" --- Klara Harden
"Every single deed, from the tiniest to the biggest, has a ripple effect on the world. It effects us all, globally and at the end, personally. As human beings, blessed with the gift of intelligence and dignity, we have the duty to take care of the world, to fight social injustice and end destructive egoism. Life is precious, because its rare!" --- Karsten Prühl

Hello supporters,we have finally restructured our project and our travel plans. Herewith, we are now on-line again in order to make this film come true. Still, the aim of our trip is a documentary that brings Madagascar and it's current issues closer to the viewer: YOU! We want to inspire the audience, and film is our medium. We'll supply everyone who wants to get involved with information about projects and organisations on Madagascar. To make sure our project is coming true, we are talking to sponsors, start cooperations and applie for film-funding in Styria/Austria. Due to this we can now continue our StartNext campaign with a corrected budget aim. That effects all current supporters, meaning that the arrival of their post-cards, Skype-chats and letters sticks to the plan. For all you future supporters: our development means new opportunity for becoming part of this project and receive a great "Thank you" for your support.Note:We've made it into media attention recently.
