A film crew comes to a tiny town. Suddenly they get a phone call from a man, who suggests that they should take part in the birth of an empire...
WOODCOCK tells the story of this man. TOM REINFELD has a big vision and no clue. He wants to build a multi-billionth enterprise out of his father's small carpenter shop.
He builds his office in the garage of his parents' house. His aim is to conquer the world with a revolutionary idea: all the materials are to be replaced with wood. The only thing he lacks is an adventurous investor. And the down-to-earth accountant MAX JACOBS, Tom deals with, is the wrong person for it.
The reason why the plan fails expectedly is not only the plan itself, but also its creator. However, such unimportant things like reality or financial crisis won't stop Tom... and the camera shows everything.

The target group are the serials junkies. Those, who sit in front of their computers every night and think: “Ok, this is actually the last episode of 'How I Met Your Mother“ for today“. Just to realize that in 2 hours they must go to school/university/work.
Our wish is to provide them with a new stuff for their addiction. This time - in an unordinary form of a german Comedy Tv Show, a not a cheap copy of a american one!
This show will have quotations, that could be posted on Facebook. This show will tell about neurotic social outsiders, everybody could identify with. Heroes were yesterday. Socially Awkward is the new COOL.

Tom Reinfeld's plan shouldn't be supported. The sooner he learns, that life is hard and dreams can't come true so easily, the better it is. Who would believe in a project, which consists of nothing, but blood, passion and the wish to create something good, creative and true? Exactly. Only losers, who still live with their parents.
Well, actually – that's who we are.
Like Tom Reinfeld we believe in the project, which is based mostly on idealism and lacks the good financial basis. WOODCOCK tells the story about the character, who can't put up with the gravity of life. Like Tom and his wooden iPhone cases we want to create something new, that could make the German TV Comedy world widen in a very exciting direction.

With your donations we'll be able to finance the production and post-production of WOODCOCK pilot episode. In this case we will offer the project to german and international broadcast stations. If it wouldn't work, the episode will be shown on different festivals. Anyway WOODCOCK will find its way to the audience.
