If we manage to reach the first goal with your help, we will be able to afford the airfare costs to Israel for the entire ensemble.
We received an official invitation to Israel!
The tour is scheduled for 5 days with 4 concerts in Haifa, Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, where we will play in different locations, such as a home for survivors of the Holocaust and a conservatory of music. Wee see this project as a possibility to strengthen our contact and cultural exchange with Israel, as well as an opportunity to present our new album "Schlönz" abroad. But in order to afford the costs of travel and accommodation, we need your financial support. If we can realize this project, after the tour we will also play a thank-you concert in Berlin for all our supporters. So, don't hesitate to donate and please spread the word! :)
With this campaign we hope to make our tour through Israel in October 2019 possible. However, this project is not only about visiting an interesting country or experiencing something special, but about a lot more: we are cooperating with the organization "Dialog", an educational foundation for intercultural exchange based in Zichron Yaakov. They are committed to fighting antisemitism and discrimination, as well as to strengthen democratic values and human rights. In particular, they campaign for the remembrance of the Holocaust and work to connect people of different cultures. To further these intentions, there will be a concert especially for survivors of the Holocaust with a discussion planned for afterwards, as a space for asking each other questions. In this way, with this cultural exchange, we want to take a stand against antisemitism and to speak up for international understanding across all cultures and religions.
Music connects!
We want to build bridges with our music. Whether it be between jazz enthusiasts and fans of classical music or between old and young. In order to realize this ambition, we would like to present our musical approach to a more divers audience, playing in different performance spaces in Haifa, Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. Since many of us are students, pupils or have a career as musicians, we cannot afford to finance this tour on our own. We would be happy, if you support us! Let’s build bridges together!
First goal of funding:
If we can achieve the first target of our crowdfunding of €4,000, we can cover all the expenses for traveling from Berlin to Tel Aviv and back.
Second goal of funding:
If we reach the second objective of €8,000 with this crowdfunding, it will also be possible to pay all the expenses for accommodation (2 nights in Haifa and 2 nights in Tel Aviv), while the costs for individual members of the ensemble will become more affordable.
