Only from target 1 on you get the money paid, now up to target 2 ;-)
The aim is to maintain or rebuild the artist and artist-studio Y'NOT ART-LOFT in Berlin. Unfortunately the loft at the Rummelsburger Bucht had to be closed in March due to a considerable increase in rent. Now it is to be rebuilt at another location (location has already been found and rental contract signed) when Y'NOT ART-LOFT 2.0
The aim is to preserve this special studio, which has achieved worldwide fame within only 3 years and has been used by many Berlin artists and international guests as a creative oasis and rehearsal room. The target group is therefore all artists who want to use this studio, all agencies and event companies who need and want extraordinary show acts also in the future and supporters who want to do something for the preservation of the Berlin art scene.
We (acrobats, artists, dancers, musicians...) are the most affected industry in Germany. Our jobs are the first to disappear and will come back last. But this is aggravated by the fact that we don't have the space to continue training at a high level and to plan new productions, so that we would be severely affected even after the crisis.
Behind the project is the performance team Cosmic Artists. With the Y'NOT ART-LOFT we have fulfilled a dream, namely to be independent in terms of time and creativity in order to be able to conceive, choreograph and rehearse productions and stagings. The first studio welcomed artists and friends from around the world, Cirque du Soleil artists, actors, singers and choreographers, and many others. But above all it is also about preserving the traditional international artists' scene in Berlin, which is not only endangered by Corona.
