Something has to change now, so we will have a future!
Grumbling, dreaming, REALISING! When if not now? As the youth we don’t have a lack of visions but often the realization is the problem. With the youth activist camp in Berlin we will change that! 30 young people from all over the world & 30 Berliners will set the start for a border crossing network of Young Utopians, who will work together actively and progressively on a resource-saving, more democratic and equality-based future.

What is this project all about?
We want to create more political education & mobilization of young people, by learning peer-to-peer & helping each other to get envolved by creating a network, providing the tools for activism and a platform for youth activism.
What is the project goal and who is the project for?
Young people between the age of 18-28 no matter which background and social stratum. It’s about diversity! At this moment we already reached almost 7000 international applications. So the youth is ready for a change as we are.

A network of ambassadors, who will activate more youth-participation and sustainability in their communities.

Why would you support this project?
We don't just complain, we act & do everything ourselves! There are no big companies or foundations behind us, but a group of four youngsters from Berlin in the core of our organization. Next to our studies & engagements, we now started an unpaid fulltime job & do everything ourselves. As young adults, we know best how to reach our generation!
Our focus is on mobilizing those who want to ignite change, but do not know how, not only those who are already priveleged and active. We all learn from each other and with each other.
How will we use the money if the project is successfully funded?
Catering : Activist, helping hands & workshop leaders also have to eat. A big part of the money goes into sustainable, ecological vegetarian/vegan catering.
Transport: We have to get from A to be to meet partners & to visit workshops. Public transportation in Berlin costs ca. 76€ a person for 10 days x 60 people = 4560 €.
Material: To make our results longlasting, we need materials such as flipcharts, notepads, pens, whiteboard marker...
Who are the people behind the project?
Behind the Young Utopians are 4 Berliners in their early 20s. We want to show, that everyone can make a difference, if the person only gets the right tools!
Luca (21) does everything you see. She is visually extraordanary talented.
Céline (20) does everything you read & everything that concerns collecting money. From cooperations, social media & general structure as well as questions.
Lisa (21) gets our chaos in order & administrates tne stuff that Céline brings in for example the 7000 applications.
Aaron (21) is responsible for the NGO structure, has a ton of ideas such as the one to found the Young Utopians and to do an activist camp with Céline 8 months ago.
