Joel Havea Trio | The New Album

The Joel Havea Trio is: Joel Havea on vocals and guitar, Leo Lazar on drums and vocals and Arnd Geise on bass. Although we have all been making music independently for many years, this constellation has only existed for about the last 12 months. The musical chemistry was clear from the first notes we ever played together in the rehearsal room and after a year of playing shows around Europe, we have started work on recording the newest bunch of songs that I have written over the past few years!

Being a totally independent artist, crowdfunding is a concept that has always really resonated with me. I have played hundreds of mostly self-booked shows all around the world over the past 4 years and for this album, I felt that the time was right, together with Arnd and Leo, to turn to the people who have supported me so far along my musical journey.

What is crowdfunding?
For those new to the concept, it is quite simple… If you want to get involved, you simply select from one of the great rewards on the right hand side. These rewards include things such as the new album on CD and vinyl, t-shirts, live concert packages, surprises packages and much more. Please take a look; there is something for everybody! If successful, the money raised from the campaign will directly go towards recording and producing our new album. If our goal is not reached, you’ll get your money back.

We’re asking for €14,000, however what we actually need to complete is record is €18,000.

€26,000 would allow us to hire a fancy pants publicist in Germany and promote the album in all channels (e.g. media, print, online and radio).

Our ultimate stretch goal is €30,000 which would allow us to make a music video for the single with the amazing video production team 6:43 Films from Hamburg!

A successful project will enable us to record, release and promote an honest and authentic album, which captures the energy and raw moments of our live show. We want to be able to transmit that to you, where ever you are and when ever you listen to it.

Like an amazing concert, really great albums have that same power to take you on a journey.

To us, our favourite records are just like good old friends. You can turn to them in times of trouble but also when you're feeling great and just want to sing and dance.

If we reach our first stretch goal of €26,000, we will be able to do a full promotional campaign to ensure sure the album gets heard far and wide.
