After writing lots of music in the Danish countryside for over two years, it is time to finally share our debut album with you. We recorded 14 songs, but there are still a few steps missing to release our music. With your support our goal is to press our music on CDs and LPs, pay for the mixing, mastering, photos, artwork and promo. All that costs a lot of money, but together we can make our album become a reality. In return we offer you many exciting rewards. Thank you so much for your support!

This project is about making Bjarke Falgren´s and Sönke Meinen´s duo debut album become a reality and raising money to finish the production.
In diesem Projekt geht es um die Finanzierung von Bjarke Falgrens und Sönke Meinens Duo-Debütalbum "Postcard to Self", welches im September auf CD und im November auf Vinyl erscheinen soll.
Was sind die Ziele und wer ist die Zielgruppe?
Our goal is to release our debut album on CDs in September and on LPs in November. Until then there are still some steps to go, but with our supporters we can make it!
Unser Ziel ist, unser Debütalbum im September auf CDs und im November auf Vinyl zu veröffentlichen. Bis dahin sind noch ein paar Schritte zu gehen, aber mithilfe unserer Unterstützer können wir es möglich machen!
Warum sollte jemand dieses Projekt unterstützen?
We offer you many rewards you can only purchase exclusively in this campaign. We normally don't offer lessons - also you have the chance to have your name in the booklet as official supporter, book a private house concert and much more. All this will not be possible anymore after this campaign.
Wir bieten eine Vielzahl von Dankeschöns, die ausschließlich in dieser Kampagne erhältlich sind. Dazu gehören Gitarren- und Geigenunterricht, die Chance, dass euer Name im Booklet als "offizieller Unterstützer" erscheint - und man kann beispielsweise ein privates Hauskonzert buchen. All das wird nach dieser Kampagne nicht mehr möglich sein.
Was passiert mit dem Geld bei erfolgreicher Finanzierung?
All the money will go directly into finishing the CD production, paying for the artwork, photos, mixing, mastering, pressing CDs and LPs and promoting the album.
Das eingesammelte Geld fließt komplett in die Fertigstellung der CD-Produktion und finanziert das Artwork, die dazu nötigen Fotos, das Mixing, Mastering, die CD- und Vinylpressung sowie die Promo für unser Debütalbum.
Wer steht hinter dem Projekt?
We are Bjarke Falgren (fourfold Danish Grammy Award winner) & Sönke Meinen (2016 Guitar Masters winner), musicians and composers from Denmark and Germany. In the past two-and-a-half years, we met in an old schoolhouse, where Bjarke lives in the Danish countryside to write and record our duo debut album called „Postcard to Self", which we will release in September. With this album that mixes folk influences with fingerstyle guitar, a pinch of film music (without a film yet) jazz and much more, we try to go new ways with the sound of a violin & guitar duo.
Wir sind Bjarke Falgren (vierfacher dänischer Grammy-Preisträger) und Sönke Meinen (amtierender "Guitar Masters"-Gewinner), Musiker und Komponisten aus Dänemark und Deutschland. In den letzten zweieinhalb Jahren haben wir uns regelmäßig in einer alten Dorfschule in einem kleinen Dorf, in dem Bjarke lebt, getroffen, komponiert, arrangiert, geprobt und nun auch unser Debütalbum "Postcard to Self" aufgenommen. Mit diesem Album, das Folk-Einflüsse mit Fingerstyle-Gitarre, einer Prise Filmmusik (bisher ohne Film), Jazz und vielen weiteren Stilistiken mixt, gehen wir mit dem Sound eines Violinen-/Gitarrenduos neue Wege.
