Students on a Mission: Bringing HOPE to Ukraine

HOPE ONLUS is organising and directly managing a humanitarian convoy made up of trucks to bring emergency kits to families.

Hello everyone. We are Alice, Lia, Manfredi, Ryan, Sam, Sara, Sonja and Zoe, a group of Italian, German, American and Russian students currently residing in The Netherlands. We will soon depart for an Emergency Mission with the Italian humanitarian organisation HOPE ONLUS, which has been managing first-aid programmes for 16 years.

Worum geht es in dem Projekt?

The aim of our mission is to bring emergency kits to the Ukrainian population now fleeing war. We will also bring medical supplies to two hospitals that are providing relief for free to the wounded.

Was sind die Ziele und wer ist die Zielgruppe?

We feel that we are directly involved in this mission because dear friends of ours are being affected by the war. As such, we want to overcome our feeling of helplessness by giving first-hand help on the ground. The 7 of us will leave for the Polish-Ukrainian border to bring aid with HOPE.

Warum sollte jemand dieses Projekt unterstützen?

The humanitarian emergency on the ground is getting more and more serious, thousands of humans are in danger.

Was passiert mit dem Geld bei erfolgreicher Finanzierung?

Please help us to bring emergency kits with HOPE where it is most needed. This humanitarian aid project is agreed upon with the Caritas and the Ukrainian Consulate based in Milan.
