The landscapes we inhabit are ruinous. Dominant forms of spatial planning that have significantly contributed to the destruction of our environments are in crisis. Our book addresses people, groups and disciplines that research, think and plan in space-related ways. In addition to the political relevance of highlighting the involvement of architecture in the destruction of our environments, this campaign is of great financial importance to us. Due to the current funding situation in Berlin, the publication of our book is dependent on the help of many. The target amount of money is needed to pay for content editing, stylistic proofreading, graphic design, printing, the publisher and startnext.

We are very excited that our book will be published by ADOCS publishers, based in Hamburg. ADOCS will support us in the publication of the book and its distribution in bookstores across Europe after the official release. Space for Relational Research is a collaborative practice founded by Barbara Herschel, Kaspar Jamme, Felix Künkel and Justus Schweer in 2024. Ten years ago we started studying architecture at Bauhaus-University in Weimar and finished together at University of the Arts in Berlin.
