Many fashion-conscious people would like to dress individually and chic without polluting the environment. But it's hard to find unique clothing that does both.

I felt the same way. I've always had a penchant for fancy clothes and designer pieces. The beige organic cotton shirt and dress with a simple cut were far too boring for me.

My enthusiasm for upcycling fashion arose during my fashion design studies. To save on fabric, I decided to make a sample out of an old faded bed sheet. The result was a blouse in various shades of pink - this transformation completely fascinated me!

Since then, I have been making unique pieces from used clothing and leftover fabric. For example, the 70s curtain becomes a winter coat, the worn-out silk tie becomes an evening dress, and the children's snow suit becomes a padded shoulder bag.

Each Amaran Creative piece is unique - just like every person is unique. Retro inspired cuts and striking details make each piece unmistakable.

Fashion-concious women of all ages. Fashion addicts who love extraordinary and edgy clothes but also would like to shop sustainable.

The fashion industry emits about the same amount of greenhouse gas per year as the entire economy of France, Germany, and the UK combined (McKinsey & Co, Fashion on Climate 2020). In Europe, 5.8 million tons of clothing are thrown away every year. 75 percent of these clothes end up in landfills. In times when environmental protection and the fight against climate change are some of the most important issues, the previous system of making clothes has become UNSUSTAINABLE!

The fashion industry emits more CO2 every year than all long-haul flights and maritime shipping combined. Why not start right here and change something? That is exactly my belief. With my label AMARAN CREATIVE, I not only want to help the environment by saving old fabrics and clothes from the garbage and produce locally, I also want to make a clear statement with my clothes. To use my fashion as an instrument of public criticism - contribute to the debate. I want to show that sustainably produced fashion can be fun and even brings added value. Bring back a certain exclusivity and uniqueness to the fashion world with my unique pieces. Values ​​that have been lost in recent decades through mass production and fast fashion.

Turning an idea into a company takes passion, skill, time, and certain entrepreneurial qualities. Qualities that I possess; otherwise, I would not have achieved so much in the last 2 years!

Now I've come to a point where I need support. Above all, personnel support on the production side. With the money I earn from Startnext, I want to hire a seamstress to help me make my unique pieces.
