The World Dance Day in Ulm is an event that takes place in the heart of the city with many students, teachers and choreographers from the city and surrounding areas involved.

The goal of our project is getting enough financial support to make World Dance Day 2018 happen and keep on with the spirit.
The International Dance Council considers that while dance has been an integral part of human culture throughout its history, it is less prioritized by official establishments in the world. The money will be used to pay production costs like: the bus with the speakers, the Gema rights for the music, the tshirts needed for the dancers, the posters and flyers needed to advertise it, the Stadt Ulm permit … all what is needed to make such a project happen.
The Ulm branch of the World Dance Day has been always organized by one of the most active dance schools in Ulm ‘dansarts ballett centrums Ulm’ at Willy-Brandt-Platz taking the responsibility of teaching more than 500 students throughout each school year. They are the ones in charge not only of some of the performances, but also of the flashmob that takes place at the end of each performance block.
